Last Bird Home, the definitive album from Rustbelt Americana songwriter Chris Castle was recorded at Levon Helm Studios (Woodstock, NY) by Grammy winning engineer Justin Guip, this record is a far-cry from Castle's lo-fi indie recordings that have garnered him a following in the eastern US since 2007. And for a DIY songbuilder from northcentral Ohio, he finds himself in some pretty stellar company here.

The musical line-up for Last Bird Home consists of: Garth Hudson (the Band, Norah Jones), Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm), Tommy Ramone (the Ramones), Maud Hudson, Justin Guip (Hot Tuna, Tara Nevins), Gabriel Butterfield (son of Woodstock and Blues legend Paul Butterfield), the Womack Family Band, and Carl Franklin, among others.
