What a Show!!! Bryan Elijah Smith was incredible.

What a treat we had on Friday. Thank you all for coming out and supporting Bryan and the Hideaway. When I heard his stuff online, I knew his sound and style would be perfect but I had no idea how talented a writer and gifted a voice he really is and has. From the moment he sang his first tune at sound check (before anyone arrived), I was hooked. He played an hour and a half of his own tunes and few classics form Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. He even threw us all a curve ball with Oasis's "Wonderwall".... alt/country style - awesome! I think he sold everyone in the room a 17 song CD of his own tunes and even got up for a 5 song encore.

Well, I'm sure you can tell I enjoyed myself as did everyone in the room. He does, of course, live in Virginia, but we're already putting our heads together for another show in a few months. Don't miss out on this kid.... he really is something.

Next up this month is Experimental Pilot with Ella Jet July 24th followed by The Joe Taino Group July 31st. Tickets for both shows are just $10 - don't miss them.
