Friday, 1/6 Jack Williams w/ Roy Schneider; Saturday, 1/7 Renee Proffitt w/ David Daniels

Saturday we have a triple bill for you with three extremely talented songwriters. Renee Proffitt w/ David Daniels featuring special guests Matt Haley and J.T. Brown of The Groves. This is a going to be a great show folks. Renee has such a beautiful voice and is backed with percussion by David Daniels. Matt Haley has played here a number of times and has such a unique style all his own and J.T. Brown has been wowing fans all over the Tampa Bay area for some time with his band The Groves. Matt kicks things off followed by J.T. (both solo acoustic) then Renee will close out the night. Doors at 6 PM, show time at 8 PM. $5

The Hideaway Cafe is making a few changes to kick off the new year. First, a slight layout change. We've moved a few things around in an attempt to create a bigger space with more seating. It seemed that the "playroom" area on the stage side was the hot spot for really digging in and listening to the artists on stage. I feel like we've doubled that size with a few changes and have invited the bar side in to listen by creating a better view from the bar to the stage simply by lowering all the seating. Come take a look.

Second, we're moving our start time for both Tuesday and Thursday's "Living Room Live" events to 7:30 sharp! Please get here in time to sign the list and be prepared to start at 7:30 if you're first. End time is and will remain open.

Lastly, we're trying to implement a few new items on the menu. We'd like to see a few more folks coming in to eat during the week. We still want to keep it simple enough to maintain but I think by adding some more items we'll draw a few more appetites and interest some regulars with something new. This will take a few more weeks to put in place but please ask your bartender what's in store.
