Colin Ward this Friday - Human Condition this Saturday!

Getting ready for another week of great original music here at The Hideaway. First off we have singer/songwriter and Hideaway regular, Colin Ward releasing his latest effort, "Have You A Taste". With the help of Bruce Kula and known as the Blue Island Beer Club, Colin and Bruce will take the stage at 8:00 PM Friday, December 10th. Colin recently had one of his songs entitled "Wish I'd Never" appear on Fox's TV show, Good Guys, (Friday's 9PM). Way to go Colin. We hope you'll come down and support them this Friday. Doors open at 6:00 PM, Show time at 8:00 PM and tickets are available here.

Closing out the week on Saturday night, The Hideaway welcomes back, The Human Condition. Front man and good friend, Dean Johanesen leads this 4 piece rhythmic and acoustic combination of intense and sometimes gentle dynamics. "We are the sound of the struggle, the strength, the madness and the beauty of being human"... spoken form the band themselves. Dean and crew are arguably the hardest working band in the Tampa area, so chances are you've seen them or heard of them before. If you haven't, do yourself a favor and catch them here this Saturday December, 11th. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door only.

Special thanks to Doug and Telisha Williams for a fantastic night of music this past Friday. Wow... you guys are something. I hope we can do it again some time soon.

We hope to see you this Tuesday or Thursday for one of Hideaway's "Living Room Live" original music nights. Tuesdays are a bit more of a collaboration of players and singers who've come to know each others music... so all you players out there, please come and lend a hand. Thursdays are a bit more of a solo effort.... but it all depends on the singer songwriter. Both nights are ORIGINAL ONLY and both run from 8:30 PM til' ... Whatever you decide, we hope you'll come and support live, original music in downtown St. Petersburg here at The Hideaway Cafe.
