Street parking is subject to St Petersburg's downtown rules, much of it being 2 hour parking, which is well monitored on Rays Game days. Metered parking has not yet made its way to 18th Street and street signs should be read and followed. There is a row of spots that stops counting the time after 6pm so if you're an early arrival, your chances are good for snagging one of those. The downtown trolley looper does stop off right at the Hideaway Cafe (on the southwest corner heading TOWARDS downtown and on the northeast corner heading AWAY from downtown) so if you have a preferred parking garage or lot anywhere off Central Ave, this is a great option. We highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Cab so you can be worry free for your visit! More information on parking options downtown.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every Thursday we host our open mic night, "Living Room Live", St Petersburg's Original Listening Room's longest running event! Doors open at 6. Music starts at 7. Signup is first come, first serve. It is free to join us as an audience member on this evening. Artists - you must be onsite to keep your spot on the list. If you leave, you forfeit your spot, which can then be given to another patron. We welcome all singer/songwriters and encourage original music. Each artist is given 3 songs (max 15 minutes). Because we are a recording studio, you may choose to have your time on stage recorded live. The recorded offerings on this night are board mixed WAV files delivered to you unaltered on a commemorative Hideaway Cafe flash drive (different than a studio tracked recording). See brochure for details. Ask your sound engineer about rates and options for studio multi-track recordings, if interested in capturing something more.
