"John Kelly and I performing at Hideaway Cafe last night and a room shot of everyone who remained post show. Thanks to Brett Andress for the picture of John and I.

I stopped by in support of Adam Shoemaker's benefit show after my show at The Ale and the Witch. The amount of talent on stage and in the audience last night was amazing. It was so great to see everyone come together to help Adam, who I do not know that well, but from my experience, is very talented and one of the kindest folks out there. I hope this benefit was a great success for him.

At John's request, and with the supply of his guitar, as well as his Dad's guitar, we sat around the bar area post show and traded songs with each other after a large amount of folks had gone home. I love these moments in music. They are so pure and for all of us that had already gigged last night, we somehow managed to keep the fire lit well beyond what I know I expected of myself.

I appreciate John initiating this moment and also for sharing the story about his Dad's guitar and for pulling it down and passing it around. I did not know his father, but I felt as if he was smiling upon the room last night as we shared our love of music and songs with each other.

Thank you John Kelly, Nicole Porter Kelly, Brett Andress, Kirk Adams, Gale Trippsmith, Ricky Wilcox, LaRue Nickelson, Doug Willcox, Ray Villadonga, the Hideaway staff and to anyone I missed who was there for this too. Happy Wednesday friends, I hope you are all having a great day. !![:{)>"
